What Is An Implant Overdenture?

Overdentures snap onto dental implants so they stay in place until you take them out

Secure Fit

Overdentures are anchored to dental implants, providing a stable and secure fit that prevents slipping or shifting, unlike traditional dentures.

Enhanced Comfort

Designed for a natural feel, overdentures reduce gum irritation and offer improved functionality, allowing for easier eating and speaking.

How Are They Different From Other Types Of Dentures?

Dental implants are the primary difference between an overdenture and a traditional denture. Your overdenture snaps on to the implants which is how it remains firmly in place.
Fixed Implant Supported Denture
Fixed implant supported dentures are what you get with a full-mouth restoration such as All-on-4.
This denture attaches to the implants like an overdenture, but in this case remains permanently attached. Fixed dentures are cleaned just as you would natural teeth.
Traditional Denture
Traditional dentures sit directly on the gums and are held in place by natural suction or dental adhesives.Traditional dentures are not stable and not very functional.
